September Covid easing and reopening of facilities

As of September 1st 2021 the Club’s Covid-19 rules have been relaxed including use of the gym and hall. The gym has been set up to accommodate all squad sessions and the hall is free to be used for circuit training and ergo sessions. Members are reminded to clean the equipment they use after their session with the blue roll and spray provided. This includes cleaning the gym mats and ergos.

Club changing rooms were refurbished and decorated during last year’s lockdown to include separate cubicles which offer improved safeguarding and better facilities for caravanners, and these are now fully open to all members along with the toilets. Please remember to keep the door into the locker room closed at all times and keep valuables in a locker.

Face masks do not need to be worn inside the club building. It is up to individuals if they wish to wear a face mask whilst inside the building and around others. Track and trace sign up sheets will stay in place so we ask that all members keep signing up for water and land sessions in case we need to notify members that they were in close contact with another member who has tested positive for Covid.

Members do not need to clean boats and blades before their outing but are expected to clean and dry the boat inside and out as well as cleaning their blades before the boat is put back on the rack. Members should continue to bring cleaning buckets to each session.

The Club’s Google Sheets will remain active for all members to use as it is useful to keep important documents and for signing up and reporting damage etc. Members must continue to book club boats before their water session.
