Congratulations to present junior Helen Preston and former juniors John Preston, Emma Steel and Jess Eddie on their GB selection
Helen, aged 17 years, has been selected to row for GB in the WJ18 4x- at the Coupe de la Jeunesse, which will take place on Inniscarra Lake, Cork in Ireland from 18-20 July. The Coupe which was founded in 1985 and also known as the Junior European Rowing Championships, is an international regatta, rowed over a distance of 2000m.
John Preston has been selected to row for GB in the Lightweight Men’s Pair in the forthcoming U23 World Championships in Germany.
Emma Steel has also been selected to row for GB in the U23 World Championships. This is the second time Emma has been selected for the U23 Worlds.
Jess Eddie who is a member of the GB rowing squad has been selected to row in the Womens 8+ at the forthcoming Beijing Olympics.
