Dates of Learn to Row courses for 2024 are now available on the website.
The first course is for Juniors (11-16yrs), starting on Monday, February 19th, 2024 and continuing for 4 consecutive days – 19/02, 20/02, 21/02, 22/02, between 10:00-12:00 each day.
The schedule of Junior course dates for the year is as follows –
Course 1 – Monday 19th February – 19/02, 20/02, 21/02, 22/02 -10:00-12:00
Course 2 – Monday 8th April – 08/04, 09/04, 10/04, 11/04 -10:00-12:00
Course 3 – Monday 27th May – 27/05, 28/05, 29/05, 30/05 -10:00-12:00
Course 4 – Monday 5th August – 05/08, 06/08, 07/08, 08/08 -10:00-12:00
Course 5 – Monday 28th October – 28/08, 29/08, 30/08, 31/08 -10:00-12:00
The cost for a 4-day course is £65. To apply for any of the courses, please email learntorow@durham-arc.org.uk
Dates of courses for Adults will be available later.
The courses are aimed at beginners, and no experience of rowing is necessary. On the course qualified coaches and a team of helpers will teach you the basics of rowing, sculling, coxing and indoor rowing.
