Durham to host the final round of 2026 LDS Series on November 7th

Durham ARC will host the final round of the 2026 Long Distance Sculling (LDS) Series and Durham Autumn Small Boats Head (ASBH) on Saturday, November 7th, each taking place over the 1800 metre head race course on the River Wear.

The poster for Durham ASBH is here. Entries will open at 2pm on Friday, October 16th.

See the Northern Rowing Council website here for information about the six rounds of the LDS Series. Entries for the Durham LDS competition open at 7pm on Sunday, October 18th.

The LDS race will take place in the morning with the start time set provisionally for 9am, to be followed by two divisions of the ASBH in the afternoon, at 12.00 and 2.30pm.

The safety capacity for each division is 100 entries. Entries will be suspended once the limit is reached.

Entries will close at 7pm on Saturday, October 31st.
