Fifteen members of the daytime rowers travelled to the River Tees Watersports Centre yesterday to join friends from the Tees Rowing Club recreational rowers on their regular Thursday morning paddle up the Tees, continuing the tradition of regular exchange visits between the clubs that commenced in 2012.
The group included two members of the DARC octogenarian eight that took to the water on May 8th to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

A trip up the Tees 2025
Tees provided boats for the outing which included an eight, three quads and two doubles, and most rowed to the Pipe Bridge and back.
After the outing the group came together to enjoy the fabulous buffet feast prepared by our hosts at the Watersports Centre.
Everyone had a very enjoyable time. We look forward to renewing acquaintances again.
