On November 12th members celebrated the advent of the final Lumiere to take place in Durham by staging a light show of their own, as crews embarked in six boats of varying size including a single, double, four, quad, eight and octuple took to the water festooned with fairy lights for a paddle to the pool and back, followed by a get together for drinks in the bar.

The theme was ‘Be a Light in the DARC’ and with all agreed it was a fun way to fill a wet winters evening, thoughts immeduately turned to planning for next year.
