Following agreement with other users the road connecting the Rowing Club with Green Lane has been fully resurfaced.
This has been made possible with significant funding from Durham Amateur Rowing Club, 1860 Bar & Kitchen, Durham University, Durham Regatta, St Giles Yarners Rifle & Pistol Club and Durham City Cricket Club, and the support of Elvet Ward County Councillors David Freeman and Ellie Hopgood.
The work was completed on October 16th and 17th.
Thank you to road users for their patience and co-operation during the improvements which will ensure a smoother arrival and departure for vehicles accessing the club and the boat and trailer area at regattas.
