Explore Rowing Co-ordinater - Needed from 1st March 2010
Part Time - 15-20 hours p/w - fixed term till September 2012
Durham Amateur Rowing Club in partnership with County Durham Sport, NHS Durham and British Rowing wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced rowing coach to implement, coordinate, deliver and evaluate their new Explore Rowing project.
The successful applicant will be qualified to at least UKCC Level 2 and should have experience of coaching both adults and junior rowers specifically at an introductory level. The applicant should be comfortable dealing with professional organisations including GP’s, & referral agencies as this will be a crucial part of establishing the project. Part of the funding is aimed at engaging and recruiting people aged 40-74 who are presently inactive or have poor levels of fitness causing them to be at greater risk of CVD. There will be a large emphasis on the co-ordination of the project rather than just the coaching. The post holder will have responsibilities for a further part time coach and volunteer coaches.

Part Time - Casual
Durham Amateur Rowing Club in partnership with County Durham Sport, NHS Durham and British Rowing wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced rowing coach to assist with the delivery of our exciting new Explore Rowing project.
The successful applicant will be qualified to (or working towards) at least UKCC Level 2 and should have experience of coaching adults specifically at an introductory level. Hours will be mainly between 10am and 3pm but there may be requirements outside of these times.
