Friends of Durham ARC
Durham ARC is a ‘Not for Profit Organisation’, which relies on members to both fundraise and run the club’s activities.
Every year the club runs a number of fundraising activities, the largest of which are our Regattas. Durham City Regatta is a two day event and is one of the largest rowing events in the region.
Durham ARC members are also heavily involved in the running of Durham Regatta, the North’s largest rowing event, where we also carry out a significant amount of fundraising activities.
The Friends Group is being created with a view to helping us create an active group of volunteers within the club and from outside, to help us carry out both everyday functions as well as helping out at our events.
