Corporate Facilities
We can offer corporate conferencing facilities in the heart of Durham City.
Newly completed in the summer of 2007, Durham Amateur Rowing Club's £1m facility is located on the Racecourse in Durham City at the end of Green Lane.
We are unique in that we are able to provide a city centre facility with free private parking for 32 cars (overflow parking is also available).
The city centre boasts excellent shops, restaurants and tourist attractions and is only a 5-10min walk from the club.
We can offer a range of facilities dependent on your needs and the number of delegates.
From a small office meeting room for up to 15 people to a conference in the main hall for 100 we can adapt to suit your needs.
Bar and catering facilities are available by arrangement.
Also available is a state of the art ICT suite.
A range of equipment to complement your conference is available including video projection facilities and wireless internet. Please ask for further information and prices.
In addition to conference facilites we are unique in offering custom built corporate team building events. These can be water or dry land based and need not be rowing biased, although this is proving very popular.
We have a range of indoor and outdoor training equipment ideally suited to providing structured courses and events for complete beginners. The pictures above show two of these boats being used for individual instruction and team building events. WARNING - You might get wet! But then we do have heated changing and shower facilities.
